SAFEGUARDING
OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFEGUARDING
We believe that every individual involved in our league – whether a player, coach, referee, volunteer, or supporter – has the right to feel safe and protected from harm. To achieve this, we work closely with clubs, coaches, parents, and governing bodies to promote a culture of vigilance, respect, and accountability.
KEY PRINCIPLES:
-
Zero Tolerance: We have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying, harassment, abuse, or discrimination of any kind.
-
Safe Environments: All activities within the league are designed to prioritize the safety and well-being of participants, particularly children and vulnerable adults.
-
Empowerment Through Education: We provide training and resources to clubs, coaches, and volunteers to ensure they understand their safeguarding responsibilities.
-
Open Reporting: We encourage everyone to speak up if they have concerns. All reports will be handled sensitively, confidentially, and in line with our safeguarding policies.
If you have any concerns about a child protection and safeguarding issue within the WWWGL structure please use the contact form below to contact the league safeguarding officer.
